Background to the client’s requirements

The client was seeking a partner to help them with reports on the entities listed on the TReDS platform, so that lenders may have a detailed understanding of the profile of the borrower. These reports were to include information on financial as well as non-financial information from the public domain, with the inclusion of analytical inputs to help the lenders assess the borrower.

Solution provided 

The client chose Crisil’s company reports service for the delivery of these reports. Crisil entered into an arrangement to provide reports for a certain number of borrowers, within an agreed-upon TAT. These reports were to be delivered on-demand, throughout the year.

Crisil used the company report service available on Quantix which have a comprehensive coverage of 1400+ data points across 50,000+ companies., to generate customised reports that included the latest information from public domain. Data sources included MCA, stock exchanges, rating rationales across all agencies, as well as other sources such as e-court proceedings, news and regulatory disclosures (such as credit bureau). The report additionally included analytical scores from modules such as the Company Scorecard as well as Financial Sensitivity Model to provide a better understanding of the financial strength and stability of the borrower.
